Nous nous envolons une fois de plus dans le ballon Signature Stripe fait à la main pour le capturer avec pour toile de fond le magnifique désert de Mojave. Et nous avons emmené quelques amis avec nous…
Lorsque notre ballon Signature Stripe a effectué son premier vol, c'était juste après la "réouverture du monde". Un symbole d'optimisme, un peu comme le motif Signature Stripe lui-même, il représentait un certain espoir et une certaine gaieté à propos de ce qui était en magasin après si longtemps derrière des portes closes.
The Paul Smith Signature Stripe Balloon was created from over 1000 metres of fabric and a whopping 5km of thread.
Enveloppé dans ce message se trouvait un autre thème au cœur de notre collection Signature Stripe : l'artisanat. Méticuleusement fabriqué à la main dans l'un des derniers ateliers de fabrication de ballons au Royaume-Uni, le ballon de 22,6 m de haut est le résultat d'un travail minutieux par un groupe d'artisans experts. Tout comme, encore une fois, comme notre Signature Stripe.
It took the craftspeople an incredible 200 hours to painstakingly stitch the Paul Smith Signature Stripe balloon together.
Ce qui nous amène à la dernière étape de notre tour : le désert de Mojave au Nevada. À environ une heure de route des lumières brillantes de Las Vegas, cet endroit paisible a été choisi pour sa beauté impressionnante et ses environs tranquilles, l'étape parfaite pour notre deuxième vol.
Pahrump, near where the balloon launched, is said to be the site of buried treasure and is where the Martians land in Mars Attacks!

Being part of the balloon launch was such a sweet first-time experience... I felt joy, I felt strength, I experienced fun in the most beautiful ways… My favourite thing about the experience is simply feeling vibrant and connected to my inner child.

My favourite part about the shoot was definitely the location. I’d never been to Vegas before, so to be taken out to the middle of the desert and to experience first-hand the storm that took place as we were arriving was pretty magical.
