Terms & Conditions for the Repair, Restore, Refresh service

Currently only available in our UK shops.

Repair Service:

All UK Paul Smith full price stores, excluding airports, outlet stores and concessions, can offer a range of repair services on most Paul Smith clothing and shoes and some ad hoc accessories. A consultation will confirm if your product is able to be repaired.

Paul Smith will offer consumers a 2-year warranty on goods purchased from any Paul Smith store, or retailers, with proof of purchase. So, in the unlikely event that your product should develop a fault, we will offer to repair it free of charge.

Repairs outside of the warranty will be at a cost, which is dependent on the repair required. The cost will be identified following an initial consultation with your local store.

Repairs can take up to 6 weeks to complete.

The customer will be notified once the repaired product is ready to be collected.

If the customer does not collect their repair, when notified, Paul Smith will hold the product for 6 months.

If you are unhappy, for any reason, you have 7 days from the collection of your product, to notify the store, who will then work with you to achieve a solution within 30 days.

In the unlikely event that the same repair should be required again, within 6 months, we will offer to repair it free of charge.

Further to the repair being completed, should a different issue arise within 6 months, it will be dealt with as a new repair request.

Please see below a list of the repairs offered: (This isn’t an infinite list, so please contact your local store to discuss your specific requirements.)

· Relining Jackets – full or partial.
· Fixing waistband of trousers and skirts​
· Re-hemming trousers and skirts.​​​​
· Re-stitching seems.
· Fixing holes and tears in garment
· Resolving fitting problems
· Re-attaching buttons, zips and other embellishments
· Inserting of new shoulder pad
· Re-attaching pockets
· Removal of Garment Stain / Water Spots
· Resoling shoes
· Replacing shoe insoles
· A limited number of accessory repairs are offered but a mandatory consultation of the product is required first.​​


Restoration Service :

Paul Smith will restore ‘pre-loved’ Paul Smith products for a charge, dependent on the repair required.

Restoration can be offered on most UK Paul Smith clothing and shoes and some ad hoc accessories. A consultation will confirm if your product is able to be restored.

Customers can take their ‘pre-loved’ products to any UK Paul Smith full price store, not including airports, outlets or concessions.

The restoration can take up to 6 weeks to complete.

The customer will be notified once the restored product is ready to be collected.

If the customer does not collect their repair, when notified, Paul Smith will hold the product for 6 months.

If you are unhappy, for any reason, you have 7 days from the collection of your product, to notify the store, who will then work with you to achieve a solution within 30 days.


Refresh Service:

All UK Paul Smith stores, excluding airports, outlets and concessions, will be able to offer a complimentary refresh service which involves being able to remove most spot stains from Paul Smith products.

A consultation with your local store will confirm if the stain can be removed.

Depending on the level of refresh required, this service could take up to 48hrs.

The customer will be notified once the refreshed product is ready to be collected.
