Matt Smith Returns as the Face of Paul Smith

Cast your mind back to the halcyon days of last summer, and you may remember that a certain Mr. Smith became the face of our AW23 campaign. No, not Paul (although he did make a cameo). The starring role was given to beloved British actor Matt Smith, who – since making his name in Doctor Who almost 15 years ago – has gone from strength to strength on TV, in film and on stage, establishing himself as a complex and unique presence. Turning in highly memorable performances in House of the Dragon, The Crown, Last Night in Soho, and An Enemy of the People – currently on in London’s West End – Matt has delighted audiences the world over.

But now he reprises his greatest role (if you ask us, anyway), returning as the face of Paul Smith. For our SS24 campaign, we once again call upon Matt’s natural charisma and effortless star quality to tell the story of the latest Paul Smith collection. As always, tailoring plays a central part, with bold silhouettes rendered in monochrome, accented by casual knitwear and the odd dash of Signature Stripe.

We’re thrilled to be working with Matt again.
