Simon & Sarah
Remember when sleepovers were the height of adventure? Two best friends (and friends of Paul Smith) @ownwayofinspiration and @sarahhalpin show us how it’s done.
Spending the entire day indoors is one of those things that is normally frowned upon. In a hyper-productive world, we’re expected to always be, well, hyper productive. We’re always rushing from A to B, often by way of C, D, and E. And we feel guilty if we don’t, particularly in a post-pandemic world. After repeated lockdowns, there’s an expectation that we should be itching to go back to the daily grind (and then some).
And don’t get us wrong: we are excited that the world is opening up again. But it’s still OK to press pause occasionally. It’s OK to want to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the outdoors and swap it for the calmness and stillness of the indoors, once in a while. It’s OK, simply, to take things a little easier when we feel like it.
Designed to be mixed and matched (so you can wear stripes with spots and vice versa), the collection is all about effortlessness. Made from 100% cotton, the fabric itself is light, airy and entirely breathable - exactly the sort of thing that’s perfect for warmer spring and summer nights (or days, as the case may be). With handy, roomy pockets, a soft, wide collar and adjustable drawstring waistband on the trousers, they also get extra points for comfort.
In short, staying in never looked (or felt) so good.
